Facts At A Glance

Conestoga Landfill is a state-of-the-art facility designed specifically to accommodate the disposal of municipal, residual, and special handling wastes. Owned and operated by New Morgan Landfill Company, Inc., a subsidiary of Allied Waste Industries, Conestoga Landfill prides itself on meeting the demands of the private and public sectors.

Located in the borough of New Morgan, Berks County, Conestoga Landfill is strategically located to serve a wide customer base. The landfill is easily accessible from the Pennsylvania Turnpike and other major traffic arteries.

Few, if any, landfills in Pennsylvania can match the environmental integrity of Conestoga Landfill. A multi-layered lining system that exceeds both state and federal standards ensures the safe disposal of wastes. Other environmental safeguards include extensive monitoring networks that keep track of groundwater, surface water, landfill gas, and treated leachate.
